摘要

PURPOSE: A glass ribbon manufacturing method, a glass ribbon cutting method, and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce peak tensile force which is added to the glass ribbon by an edge suppressor using a flexible connecting device.;CONSTITUTION: A glass ribbon manufacturing process comprises next steps: providing a precursor glass ribbon consisting of a first main surface(S1) and a second main surface; combining a pair of edge rollers(FR1) with perimeter zone(PR1) at a first edge roller location; combining a pair of second edge rollers(FR2) with perimeter zone(PR2) at a second edge roller location; contacting a first edge suppressor(ER3) with at least one of perimeter zones(PR1); contacting the second edge suppressor(ER4) with at least one of perimeter zones(PR2); forming a crossing score-line along the score line(SL); and adding breaking force(F1) to an elastic member and adding supporting force(F2) on the score-line.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
