WATER PIPE CLEANING METHOD USING A FLUSHING VALVE, CAPABLE OF SIMPLY CLEANING A WATER SUPPLY PIPE BY INSERTING A PIG THROUGH A FLUSHING VALVE

PURPOSE: A water pipe cleaning method using a flushing valve is provided to remove scales and foreign materials inside of a water supply pipe because a pig is transferred along the inner space of the water supply pipe with water pressure by opening a valve.;CONSTITUTION: A water pipe cleaning method using a flushing valve is as follows. A sluice valve installed in a water supply pipe is eliminated. A flushing valve comprises an inlet hole in one side and a disc ball(12) in the inner side. The water supply pipe is selectively opened while the disc ball is rotated. The flushing valve is installed in a position where the sluice valve was located. An outer discharge line is connected to the end tip part of the water supply pipe. A pig(P) is inserted into inside of the disc ball through the inlet hole of the flushing valve. The disc ball is opened so that the pig is moved along the inner space of the water supply pipe by water pressure. The pig transferred along the water supply pipe and scares eliminated by the pig are collected through the outer discharge line.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
