PURPOSE: A nano-composite polyolefin/clay nano-composite for artificial feather and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance durability, productivity, and cost stability.;CONSTITUTION: A nano-composite polyolefin/clay nano-composite for artificial feather 80-99 weight% of polypropylene, 1-20 weight% of organic clay, and 0-20 weight% of compatibilizer. A manufacturing method of the nano-composite polyolefin/clay nano-composite for artificial feather comprises next steps: mixing 80-99 weight% of polypropylene, 1-20 weight% of organo clay, and 0-20 weight% of compatibilizer; adding more than one type which is selected from antioxidant, UV stabilizer, flame retardant, coloring agent, plasticizer, thermal stabilizer, slipping agent, and antistatic agent; and melt extruding the mixture at rotation speed of 300-1000rpm, residence time of 5-90 seconds, and extruding temperature at 160-240 deg.
