摘要

PURPOSE: A quantum dot containing particle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve quantum yield and apply to flat panel display device by combining at least one of quantum dot nanoparticles with surface of inorganic material or polymer core.;CONSTITUTION: A quantum dot containing particle comprises an inorganic material or a polymer core particle(100) and at least one of quantum dot nano particles(200) which are combined on surface of the core particle. The inorganic material core particle is selected from a group including silica, alumina(Al2O3, AlO2), titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide. The polymer core particle is polystyrene or polymethyl methacrylate. The core particle and the quantum dot nano particle are combined by using a bond which is selected from covalent bond, ionic bond, and physical adsorption. A diameter of the core particle is 2-1,000 micro meters. A manufacturing method of the quantum dot containing particle comprises a step of combining at least one of quantum dot nano particles with the core particle by using covalent bond, ionic bond, or physical adsorption within hydrophilic organic solvent.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
