METHOD FOR INTRODUCING RUBBER INTO A TIRE REFINING MIXER CAPABLE OF REDUCING THE MOONEY VISCOSITY OF RUBBER AND INCREASING YIELD

PURPOSE: A method for introducing rubber into a tire refining mixer is provided to increase the chemical dispersing effect of the mixer and to shorten times required for mixing materials by introducing the cut strip form of rubber.;CONSTITUTION: A rubber sheet(2) in the form of zigzag is stacked on a palette(1). The rubber sheet is introduced into a Banbury mixer(3) and is mixed to obtain tire pre-fabricated rubber(4) in the form of a sheet. Before the rubber sheet is introduced into the Banbury mixer, the rubber sheet is cut in the form of a strip(5). The strip of rubber is rectangular. The side and the width of one strip of rubber are in a range between 1m x 50cm and 5m x 5cm.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
