PURPOSE: Apparatus for preventing lane secession using ultrasonic sensor is provided to prevent the lane secession safely by maintaining vehicle safety distance with a vehicle in both side lanes.;CONSTITUTION: Apparatus for preventing lane secession using ultrasonic sensor comprises: a lane information extraction means(22) for extracting the lane information from image taken through a camera; a vehicle movement calculating means(24) calculates the posture value of a vehicle; an ultrasonic sensor(25), which is in both side of the vehicle detecting vehicles in side lanes; a control means(26); a control means(25), which is in both sides of the vehicles for detecting the vehicles in side lanes, a control means(26) for controlling driving means of steering motor by calculating steering torque required for maintaining lane, on the basis of information detected by the ultrasonic sensor, the posture value, the lane information; and a steering motor operating means(27) for aiding the maintenance of lane by operating a steering motor which actually generates steering torque calculated by the control means.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
