SHIP ENGINE UNIT USING BROWN GAS AND SHIP USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An engine unit for ships using brown gases and vessels having the same are provided to improve the waste-heat recovery efficiency by operating a waste heat recovery system even in a starting of an engine or low loads because the brown gas reduces fumes and UHC(Unburned Hydrogen Carbon). CONSTITUTION: An engine unit for ships using brown gases comprises an engine of ships(30), a brown gas generator(10), and a controller(20). The brown gas generator generates the brown gas supplied to the engine of the ships. If the engine of the ships is operated in low loads, the controller supplies the brown gas generated from the brown gas generator to the engine of the ships.
