PURPOSE: An aluminum-magnesium rolled material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the strength and mechanical properties of a rolled material by uniformly dispersing fine crystal grains.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an aluminum-magnesium rolled material comprises the steps of: preparing aluminum-magnesium mother alloy having a first magnesium composition, adding the aluminum-magnesium mother alloy into molten aluminum, casting the mixed molten aluminum to obtain aluminum-magnesium alloy having a second magnesium composition smaller than the first magnesium composition, and rolling the aluminum-magnesium alloy. The melting temperature of the aluminum-magnesium mother alloy is 100-200°C lower than the melting temperature of pure magnesium.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
