PURPOSE: An escape steering method for operators is provided to increase marketability of electronic stability control(ESC) and motor driven power steering(MDPS).;CONSTITUTION: An escape steering method for operators comprises next steps: determining whether a MDPS motor which comprises an Electric Power Steering System of driving vehicles is broke down or not; checking operation of steering wheels under break down the MDPS motor; detecting whether a steering angle followed by steering intention of the operator is actually generated or not; computing a correction steering angle for swiveling the vehicles based on steering intention of the operator; providing the correction steering angle information to the ESC so that control of vehicle turning for avoiding obstacles in front.
