PURPOSE: A rotation-fitting type vocabulary learning device and vocabulary learning method by using the same are provided to facilitate vocabulary learning by using not only a vision but also an auditory sense and tactile sense. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical body(10) comprises a cylindrical axis(11) having a constant length and hooking finishing parts(12,12') joined to both end part of the cylindrical axis. A plurality of character rotary bands(20) is inserted into between the hooking finishing parts, thereby rotating around the cylindrical axis. Alphabetic characters are marked on the outer circumference of the character rotary band and arranged to correct a word by rotating character rotary bands.
