PURPOSE: A thrombolytic composition containing a peptide with Arg-Gly-Asp motif is provided to effectively decompose blood clot and to prevent restenosis. CONSTITUTION: A thrombolytic composition contains pharmaceutically effective amount of peptides with Arg-Gly-Asp motif; and pharmaceutically acceptable carrier without a plasminogen activator. The peptide has an amino acid sequence of sequence numbers 1-11. The peptides decompose blood clot by binding to integrin in the blood clot.
