PURPOSE: An edge band trimming device for an edge banding machine is provided to prevent idling of an adjusting screw by removing clearance as a slide bar and the adjusting screw are pressed to a movable block by a first spring.;CONSTITUTION: An edge band trimming device for an edge banding machine comprises a vertical roller controlling unit(500). The vertical roller controlling unit comprises a slide bar(510), an adjusting screw, a first spring(530), and a rotating motor(570). Vertical rollers(400) are coupled to the slide bar and the slide bar is slid upward and downward along a slide groove vertically formed in a movable block(300). The adjusting screw is thread-coupled through the upper end of the movable block and is connected to the upper part of the slide bar. The adjusting screw allows the slide bar to move upward and downward. The first spring elastically presses up the slide bar against the movable block. The rotating motor is coupled to the adjusting screw through a coupling(575) and allows the adjusting screw to rotate forward and backward.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
