PURPOSE: A reflective liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce deterioration of light efficiency by dividing liquid crystal layers, which are controlled by respectively different pitches, into pixels.;CONSTITUTION: A light-absorbing plate(100) is faced with a light-transmitting plate(200). A cholesteric liquid crystal layer(300) is formed between the light-absorbing plate and the light-transmitting plate. A first cholesteric liquid crystal layer(310) is formed in a first pixel area. A second cholesteric liquid crystal layer(320) is formed in a second pixel area. A third cholesteric liquid crystal layer(330) is formed in a third pixel area.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
