PURPOSE: A method for estimating a battery remaining is provided to estimate a battery remaining capacity more accurately by using a mathematical model which is based on a voltage, a current, and a temperature change of a battery from electric charge transfer properties inside a battery.;CONSTITUTION: A sensing part measures a voltage, a current, and temperatures(S100). A measured voltage value is determined to which voltage region to belong(S200). The measured voltage value is substituted for a mathematical model corresponding to the determined voltage region and calculates a battery remaining capacity(S300).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
