PURPOSE: An alumina composite powder, polycrystalline alumina sintered body including thereof, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent coagulation between particles during drying and enhance mixing uniformity. CONSTITUTION: An alumina composite powder has a core-shell structure. The core includes alumina and the shell includes metallic additive. The core and shell are chemically combined. A mass ratio of the core to the metal additive is 10-5000PPM. The polycrystalline alumina sintered body includes alumina composite powder and has a form of sheet, film, granule, ball, disc, cylinder, or honeycomb. A manufacturing method of the alumina composite powder comprises the following steps: forming dispersed solution by dispersing the metallic additive precursor into an organic solvent; forming a mixed solution by introducing the alumina powder to the dispersed solution; controlling the mixed solution as a supercritical state in order to form a solution which contains core-shell structured alumina composite powder; and separating the alumina composite powder from the solution.
