PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle is provided to improve braking performance, handling performance, and driving performance on the wet ground through increasing contact area and removing the moisture on the wet ground.;CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire for a vehicle comprises a tread(1), a sidewall(2), a bead portion(3), a block(4), a groove(5), and a kerf(6). The block and groove are formed in the tread. The kerf is formed in the block. The kerf is composed of one or more vertical drainpipes, one or more chambers, and a horizontal drainpipe. The one or more vertical drainpipes are formed to drain the water in the kerf. The one or more chambers save the water flowed through the vertical drainpipes. The horizontal drainpipe connects each chamber and is connected to a drain outlet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
