WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK SYSTEM AND A COMMUNICATION METHOD OF THE SAME CAPABLE OF PROVIDING EFFICIENT COMMUNICATION BY OVERLAYING A WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A wireless sensor network system and a communication method of the same are provided to effectively respond abnormal situations by co-existing a zigbee-based wireless sensor network and a wireless local area network(LAN) system.;CONSTITUTION: Sensor networks(11, 12, 13) include a plurality of sensor nodes. Local servers(21, 22, 23) function as gateways between the sensor networks and a backbone network and transmit data. The overlaying managing parts of the local servers generate wireless LAN overlay networks. Data transmitted from the sensor nodes are processed based on the wireless LAN overlay networks. A data processing process includes the following: the sensor nodes receive a response message containing an address allocated from a wireless LAN system; and the sensor nodes transmit and receive data through wireless LAN overlay network.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
