PURPOSE: A user interface providing method of a route guide terminal and apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to simply select destination by using a thumbnail image including route information.;CONSTITUTION: An input and output unit(101) displays a driving route until a destination corresponding to a user input signal. An image processing unit(105) divides the driving route into sub screen according to the number of route information registered on a background image. The image processing unit arranges thumbnail image corresponding to the route information on the sub screens. A control unit(103) displays the driving route until the destination by determining the destination based on route information corresponding to the thumbnail image.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
