PR-DISTORTION APPARATUS FOR REFLECTING A MEMORY EFFECT IN CASE OF COMPENSATING FOR THE NONLINEAR DISTORTION OF A SYSTEM AND A METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A pr-distortion apparatus and a method thereof are provided to reduce implementation complexity and nonlinear distortion by reflecting a memory effect.;CONSTITUTION: A pre-distortion unit(110) receives input signals(130) and pre-distortion coefficients(160). The pre-distortion unit outputs an output signal(140) made by pre-distorting the received input signal. Pre-distortion coefficients are used for a pre-distortion process of the input signals. The pre-distortion unit includes a plurality of sub-pre-distorters. A coefficient extracting unit(120) receives the output signal and a nonlinear signal(150) of the pre-distortion unit. The coefficient extracting unit extracts the pre-distortion coefficients through the output signal and the nonlinear signal. The extracted pre-distortion coefficients are transferred to the pre-distortion unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
