PURPOSE: Transmission apparatus and method for securing frequency selectiveness in a satellite communication system are provided to obtain diversity gain by differentiating channel fading properties in multi-carrier signals.;CONSTITUTION: An antenna feed group selecting part(110) selects one or more antenna feed groups. A cyclic delay offset determining part(120) determines cyclic delay offset according to the result of the selection. A transmitting part(130) applies the cyclic delay offset to signals to be transmitted to the selected antenna feed groups and transmits the signals to the selected antenna feed groups.
