PURPOSE: A deposit treatment device for a river is provided to stably maintain the depth of a main current of a river by preventing deposits from flowing from a branch current to the main current.;CONSTITUTION: A deposit treatment device for a river comprises a settling tank(100), a suction port(200), a deposit discharge unit(300), a discharge port(400), and an air supply unit(500). The settling tank is installed at a point where a main current(20) and a branch current(10) meet each other. The settling tank precipitates deposits and sludge from river water and sends clean water to the main current. The suction port is arranged on the inner bottom of the settling tank and has multiple suction holes. The deposit discharge unit discharges deposits and sludge to the outside of the settling tank. The discharge port is arranged on the inner bottom of the settling tank. The air supply unit supplies air to the discharge port.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
