PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of maghemite/polyrhodanine core/shell nano-particles using oxidation polymerization is provided to have magnetism and antibacterial activity through surface oxidation polymerization using maghemite iron oxide as a core.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of maghemite/polyrhodanine core/shell nano-particles using oxidation polymerization comprises the following steps: forming iron ion/ rhodanine complex by agitating iron trichloride and rhodanine monomer in distilled water; manufacturing iron oxide through a reduction process using a reducing agent In the iron ion; inducing polymerization of rhodanine monomer on surface through continuous mixing; and collecting maghemite/poly rhodanine core/cell nano-particles by precipitating solution after the polymerization. The oxidation polymerization temperature on surface of the iron oxide is 60-120 deg. Celsius.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
