PURPOSE: A magnesium alloy for high temperature and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce casting defects and hold down the forming of thermally unstable β- Mg(Magnesium)17Al(Aluminum)12 phase.;CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of magnesium alloy for high temperature is as follows. Magnesium or magnesium alloy is dissolved into liquid. CaO(Calcium Oxide) is added to the surface of molten metal in which magnesium or magnesium alloy is dissolved.
