PURPOSE: An electric fence, a control method thereof, a power supply unit of the electric fence, and a control circuit for the electric fence are provided to prevent a user from receiving an electrical shock. CONSTITUTION: An electric fence comprises a conductive member, a voltage generator(56), and a control circuit(24). The conductive member is formed around a fixed region. The voltage generator is electrically connected to the conductive member and applies first voltage to the conductive member. The control circuit is electrically connected to the voltage generator and drops the value of first voltage when second voltage having a value lower than the first voltage is applied to the conductive member.
