PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating waste gas in a sintering machine and a treating method thereof are provided to effectively remove foreign materials absorbed into activated carbon by maintaining a time for the activated carbon to pass through a heating unit.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating waste gas in a sintering machine and a treating method thereof comprise suction units(30,50), a regeneration tower(60), and a supply unit(100). The suction units remove SOX and NOX contained in the gas discharged from a sintering machine(10). The regeneration tower performs a regeneration process by heating the activated carbon used as a catalyst to absorb the SOX and NOX. The supply unit stores the activated carbon supplied from the suction units, and continuously supplies the activated carbon to the regeneration tower.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
