FACE ROBOT HAVING DETACHABLE INNER/OUTER SHELL STRUCTURE WITH EASY MAINTENANCE CAPABLE OF REPLACING AND MAINTAINING THROUGH DETACHABLE INNER/OUTER SHELL STRUCTURE BY USING MAGNETS

PURPOSE: A face robot having detachable inner/outer shell structure with easy maintenance is provided to assemble inner/outer shell structure and prevent the deformation of exterior of a face portion.;CONSTITUTION: A face robot equipped with detachable inner and outer shell structures comprises an inner shell(10), a flexible outer shell, and a mechanic member. The inner shell forms the skeleton of a face. The outer shell is coupled with the inner shell. The mechanic member is composed of a microprocessor, a sensor, a motor, and an actuator and expresses movements of face muscles and emotions. Patch units(41 to 46) are located between the inner shell and the outer shell. One side of the patch unit is coupled with the inner shell detachably. Each patch unit is located in forehead portion, nose portion, and a chin portion of the inner shell and outer shell.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
