PURPOSE: An eyeball device for a robot is provided to miniaturize a device by preventing increase of volume because a housing containing an eyeball member is removed.;CONSTITUTION: An eyeball device for a robot comprises a ball member, a ball socket(130), fixing hinges(190), eyelid motors(145), eyelid members(180), and links(172,174). The rear portion of the ball member is coupled to an eyeball supporting member(120). A first joint cell containing the ball member is formed in the rear center portion of the ball socket. The ball socket has an eyeball-shaped front portion. The fixing hinges are formed in the front lateral sides of the eyeball supporting member. The eyelid motors are installed in the eyeball supporting member. The eyelid members move along the curved surface of the ball socket around the fixing hinge. The links delivers the movement of the eyelid motors to the eyelid members.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
