PURPOSE: A method and a system for dynamically selecting a replica storing space in a cloud storage system are provided to rapidly implement an uploading process and a downloading process regardless of geographical location.;CONSTITUTION: A dispersing and storing part(210) disperses and stores replicas. An area setting part(220) sets the storing positions of the replicas to be identical or similar to areas at which users are located. A replica moving part(230) moves replicas which are not in use for a long period of time to the identical or similar areas. The area setting part manually sets the storing positions of the replicas to the areas to be moved.
