PURPOSE: A system and method for transmitting short message using a smart phone messenger application is provided to variously configure message transmitting methods by interworking with an existing short message transmitting method.;CONSTITUTION: A mobile phone message transmitting SP(Service Provider) server for a mobile phone message relay(130) uses a received mobile phone number as a key value. The server searches login information of members who are accessing a smart phone messenger application.
