METHOD FOR EVALUATING RISK LEVEL OF POWER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for evaluating the risk level of an electric power system is provided to more accurately and easily recognize the risk level of a system through standardized reference values and visible indexes. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating the risk level of an electric power system comprises the steps of: measuring the electrical characteristics of a line for transmitting a current to an electric device according to the condition of a power system(S11), calculating the current flowing in the line(S12), calculating a current risk level depending on the electrical characteristics and the current of the line(S13), making the current risk level into the numerical index(S14), and evaluating the risk level of the power system from the numerical index(S15).
