PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a diffusing and reflecting polarizer having continuous phase of isotropy is provided to minimize haze and to permanently control refraction index inconsistency between two phases along 3-dimensional axes.;CONSTITUTION: A diffuse reflection polarizer(30) comprises a film(10) including fire mixture blend. The film comprises a first polymer phase(14) and a second polymer phase(12). The first polymer phase is an amorphous continuous phase and has a birefringence index smaller than about 0.02. The second polymer phase is a dispersed phase of semi-crystalline and has different birefringence index as the amorphous continuous phase. A protective layer is location on both sides of the diffuse reflection polarizer through coextrusion.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
