PURPOSE: A fossil model teaching aid and a method for manufacturing a fossil model using the same are provided to enhance a learning effect in regard to fossil by simply and steadily manufacturing the fossil model. CONSTITUTION: A fossil model teaching aid(100) comprises a first container member(110), a second container member(120), alginate powder(130), gypsum powder(140), and a model(180). The first container member forms an alginate solution by stirring the alginate powder with water. The model forms a circular shape of a fossil model in the alginate solution. The gypsum powder forms a gypsum solution. The second container member provides a stirring space for stirring the gypsum powder with the water.
