STEEL COMPOSITE GIRDER USING A BI-PRESTRESSED FOR GIRDER AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A twice-prestressed steel composite girder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the safety and serviceability of a structure by applying compressive and tensile pre-stress. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a twice-prestressed steel composite girder is as follows. A steel bar(300) is simply supported side by side with a lower form installed on the ground. A form encloses a lower flange of the steel bar to place concrete in the lower flange. Reinforcing bars and sheath pipes(700) are placed inside the form, and the concrete is placed into the form. The form is removed, and the steel bar and the concrete are integrated.
