PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a storage medium are provided to determine an influence on a visual function by only using a tomogram of an eye portion by quantifying positional relation with a predetermined site and the distribution state of a lesion position.;CONSTITUTION: A tomogram acquiring unit(110) is formed in order to acquire a tomogram of an eye portion of a tested subject. An information acquiring unit is formed in order to acquire information about a predetermined site and the location information about a predetermined organizational structure from the tomogram. A calculation unit calculates an evaluation value based on the relation between the information about the predetermined site and the location information about the predetermined organizational structure. An image processing unit(130) comprises an eye portion feature acquiring unit(131), a lesion detecting unit(132), and a time function influence determination unit(133).
