PURPOSE: A seawater desalinating system based on waste heat from a power plant is provided to increase the amount of industrial water from seawater without separate pre-treating and draining facilities.;CONSTITUTION: A seawater desalinating system includes a filtering module(200), an induced solution supplying part, an induced solute separating part, and a generating part(400). The filtering module desalinates seawater. The induced solution supplying part supplies an induced solution to the filtering module. An induced solution includes a first induced solute of a first concentration which is higher than the salt concentration of seawater. The induced solute separating part separates the induced solution into the induced solute and industrial water by receiving diluted solution of a second concentration through osmosis phenomenon. The generating part applies heat to the induced solute separating part. The generating part includes a vapor generating part, a vapor turbine, and a heat exchanger.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
