PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring the peak strength of a prism sheet are provided to obtain stability for measuring the peak strength of a prism sheet, thereby enhancing the reliability of a peak strength measurement.;CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring the peak strength of a prism sheet comprises a moving frame, a pushing plate(20), a fixing frame(30), a driving unit(40), and a central plate(50). A prism sheet is fixed on the top of the moving frame, thereby moving along a moving shaft. The pushing plate is arranged on the top of the fixed prism sheet, thereby delivering pushing force received from outside to the fixed prism sheet. The fixing frame is arranged on the moving shaft and fixes one end part of the pushing plate. The driving unit transmits power to the moving frame for moving the moving shaft of the moving frame. A guide rail is formed on the central plate so that the moving frame is moved along the moving shaft.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013
