PURPOSE: A flat panel display, a mother substrate for the same, and a method for manufacturing the flat panel display and the mother substrate are provided to prevent the generation of excessive heat by forming a main body unit having width bigger than the width of a wiring unit.;CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) is arranged on a substrate(101). A sealing member(170) is arranged in order to surround the display unit between the substrate and a sealing substrate. A wiring unit(150) is arranged in order to be overlapped with the sealing member between the substrate and the sealing substrate. A leading-in unit(180) is electrically connected to the wiring unit and an external power source and applies a voltage to the wiring unit.
