SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING AND USING MODELS OF MEMORABILITY IN COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATIONS APPLICATIONS

PURPOSE: A system for constructing and using a model of memorability in a computing and communication application and a method thereof are provided to develop and use the model of the memorability which automatically captures an ability of a human recognizing as an important landmark of time for an event, thereby providing a method and a system capable of easily searching information based on a computer. CONSTITUTION: A query component(1130) receives a query for an information search. A landmark component(1150) receives information for the information search from the query component, and uses landmark information based on contents for easily searching the information search. The landmark information corresponds to contextual information for a memorable event to an originator of the search. The landmark information determines by using the model of the memorability which automatically captures an ability of a human recognizing as a landmark of time for an event.
