METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MEMORY FAULT SIMULATION USING BOTH SPACE AND TIMING DOMAIN

PURPOSE: A method for memory fault simulator using a spatial-temporal concept and a device thereof are provided to use a physical structure of the memory included a cell unit, and a temporal concept, thereby performing the memory fault simulator. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(510) receives a memory structure, a test pattern, and a fault model. A test pattern applying unit(520) applies the test pattern to the memory structure. A fault detecting unit(530) detects the fault model according to spatial variation and temporal variation generated in the memory by the application. The memory structure includes information which determines physical composition of the memory. The fault model explains the fault by using a space and time.
