PURPOSE: A machine part with high corrosion resistance and wear resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve heat resistance, fatigue strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance by boronizing a machine part to form a boride layer on the surface before oxidizing.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a machine part comprises the steps of: preparing a base material made of alloy steel, which comprises Fe and C of 0.01-1.0weight%, Cr of 0.2-2weight%, Mo of 0.2-2weight%, Ni of 0.2-2weight%, and V of 0.1-0.8weight% to Fe of 100weight%(S10), cold forging the base material to a predetermined size and cutting or rolling to form threads(S20), putting the threaded base material in a heat treating furnace jig box filled with boronizing powder, inserting nitrogen gas 5-6 times of the inner volume of a heat treating furnace, and treating the base material at a temperature of 800-1110°C for 10-30 minutes in the heat treating furnace so that a boride layers is formed on the surface of the base material(S30), electrolytic degreasing the base material using a counter electrode to remove foreign materials and oil from the surface of the base material(S50), loading the washed base material into the heat treating furnace, blowing nitrogen gas into the heat treating furnace, and blowing oxygen or water vapor for 10 minutes to 3 hours while maintaining a temperature of 200-700°C(S70).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013;[Reference numerals] (S10) Step of preparing a base material for a screw part; (S20) Step of forging the base material and forming threads; (S30) Step of boronizing the threaded base material; (S50) Step of washing the boronized base material with alkali; (S70) Step of processing the washed base material with acid
