摘要

PURPOSE: A surroundings recognition system is provided to improve recognizing performance of parking area and obstacles by combining laser sensor and ultrasonic sensor.;CONSTITUTION: A surroundings recognition system comprises a front sensor unit(10), a rear sensor unit, a first control unit and a second control unit. The front sensor part senses the front obstacles. The rear sensor unit senses the rear obstacles. The first control unit searches parking area according to the forward sensing signal and the rearward sensing signal. The second control unit searches the front obstacles according to the forward sensing signal. The front sensor unit comprises a front short-range sensor(11) and a front ultra short-range sensor(12). The front short distance sensor senses the obstacles in the front center, left front and right front.
