PURPOSE: A MR damper comprising a membrane is provided to increase the gap between the inner wall of a housing and a piston and prevent the contact of the housing and the piston by using a MR damper.;CONSTITUTION: A MR damper comprises a housing(1), a piston(2), a rod(3), a membrane(4), and magnetorheological fluid(5). The housing is formed into cylindrical shape and comprises a bottom plate. The membrane seals an opening portion formed on the housing where a rod projected.
