FUNCTIONAL SOCKS HAVING ATHLETE'S FOOT PREVENTION AND THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS

PURPOSE: Functional socks having excellent preventing and treating effects on athlete`s foot are provided to smoothly emit negative ions and far infrared rays from the socks for improving a treating effect to fungi. CONSTITUTION: Functional socks(1) includes a deodorization coating unit(10) formed by spraying or coating an antimicrobial deodorant to the inner surface, toe insertion units(1a), and the inner bottom of the socks, and drying the antimicrobial deodorant at 25-40 deg C for 48 hours. The socks are woven by using threads dipped in a Scutellaria baicalensis extract. The antimicrobial deodorant contains at least one component selected from titanium phosphate based compounds, its condensation product, titanium silicate based compounds, or titanium borate based compounds.
