摘要

PURPOSE: A substitute for scrap iron and a manufacturing method thereof and a method for recovering iron from steelmaking sludge using the same are provided to reduce the costs for a steel making process by recycling byproducts. CONSTITUTION: A substitute for scrap iron comprises Kish graphite of 10-15 weight%, cement of 5-10 weight%, and steel making sludge produced in a steel making process, wherein the total content of Fe in the steel making sludge is 50 weight%. A method for manufacturing the substitute comprises the steps of: recovering Kish graphite deposited in hot metal slag during desulfurization of hot metal(S10), recovering steel making sludge produced during a steel making process(S20), mixing the Kish graphite, the steel making sludge, and cement at a predetermined ratio(S30), and molding the mixture(S40).
