PURPOSE: A system for molecular imaging of subject cells is provided to connect the subject cells with a contrast medium and to enhance cell bioavailability.;CONSTITUTION: A composite for molecular imaging comprises a biocompatibility polymer mediator with different fractional groups at both ends, wherein the one end is conjugated with surface modified-iron oxide system nanoparticles, and the other end is chemically conjugated with the surface of the subject cells. The biocompatibility polymer mediator is polyethylene glycol(PEG) with a hetero functional group. The subject cells are islet cells.
