PURPOSE: A composition for treating or preventing blood vessel diseases containing joiner extracts is provided to prevent activity of arginase and to increase produce of NO in blood vessel cells and main arteries. CONSTITUTION: A composition for treating or preventing blood vessel diseases contains fractions as main component. The fractions are obtained by the following steps: extracting the joiner by using alcohol; and extracting the crude extract by using ethyl acetate. The blood vessel disease is arteriosclerosis, hypertension, coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease or main artery disease. A health supplement for preventing and improving the blood vessel diseases includes fractions as main component. The fractions are obtained by the following steps: extracting the joiner by using alcohol; and extracting the crude extract by using ethyl acetate.
