PURPOSE: A control device for an auxiliary footing board of a school bus for children is provided to secure the safety of children while getting on and off the bus.;CONSTITUTION: A control device for an auxiliary footing board of a school bus for children comprises an auxiliary footing board switch(10), an auxiliary footing board unit(20), and a main controller(30). The auxiliary footing board switch is composed of a power switch, an indication unit, a switch unit, and a speaker and regulates the abnormal performance of the auxiliary footing board unit. The auxiliary footing board switch is connected to the main controller. The auxiliary footing board unit is inserted into or projected from a bus body by a reversible motor(21).
