PURPOSE: A composition for preventing and treating hepatotoxicity diseases containing caryopteris incana extracts or a compound separated from the same is provided to enhance protective effectson hepatic cells. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating hepatotoxicity diseases contains caryopteris incana extracts or a compound separated from the same. The caryopteris incana extract is obtained by extracting the caryopteris incana with water, C1-C4 alcohol or a mixed solvent thereof. The alcohol is methanol or ethanol. The caryopteris incana fraction is a fractions obtained by dichloromethane(CH2Cl2), ethyl acetate or butanol. The caryopteris incana extracts are compounds represented by chemical formula 1-10. The hepatotoxicity disease is drug caused liver damage, viral liver damage, hepatitis, liver hardening, liver cancer or hepatic coma. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating the hepatotoxicity diseases includes the compound of the chemical formula 1-10 or salt which is pharmaceutically acceptable.
