PURPOSE: A connectivity maintenance method and wireless LAN(Local Area Network) based peer terminal are provided to automatically determine the existence of one or more other peer terminals corresponding to service opening information by creating the service opening information through application information extracted from the peer terminal. CONSTITUTION: A peer terminal extracts application information from a P2P(Peer to Peer) application(105). The peer terminal creates service opening information from the extracted application information(110). When one or more other peer terminals corresponding to the service opening information are existed in the predetermined time, the peer terminal sets a terminal which includes the highest pseudo figure in a plurality of terminals as a leader terminal(120,145). The peer terminal sets the other terminals as a member terminal.
