ANTI-OVERFLOW TYPE FILL DAM USING PARTIAL PAVEMENT SLOPE AND SLOPE CHANNEL

PURPOSE: A fill dam for preventing an overflow using a partially covering slope and a slope channel is provided to stably send an overflow to the downstream of the dam through a covering slope, a slope channel, and a spillway. CONSTITUTION: A fill dam for preventing an overflow using a partially covering slope and a slope channel comprises a slope channel(40), a cutoff wall(41), and an impermeable covering slope(12). The slope channel is installed in a downstream slope(20) of a dam in the longitudinal direction of the dam. The inlet of the slope channel is connected to a crest road(11), and the outlet thereof is connected to a spillway(30). The cutoff wall is formed in the side end of the downstream slope of the slope channel. The impermeable covering slope is formed on the slope of the dam. An overflow flowing from a reservoir to the crest road flows into the spillway through the covering slope and the slope channel and is sent to the downstream of the dam.
